All about MADRING: The new F1 circuit in Madrid
The innovative new circuit MADRING, currently under construction in Madrid, promises excitement and spectacle in equal measure. Designed along urban streets and featuring high-speed straights, the 5.4 km layout has been created to maximise speed and competition.
Its 22 turns are already generating plenty of buzz, particularly La Monumental, a semicircular section inspired by a traditional bullring. Stretching over 500 metres, with a 24% banking and around six seconds of continuous turning, it will be one of the greatest challenges for drivers in front of 45,000 spectators.
Dates of the Madrid 2026 F1 Grand Prix
The Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid will take place from 11 to 13 September 2026, offering the perfect opportunity to establish the city as a top-tier venue in the Formula 1 World Championship.
It will be the 16th race on the international calendar and one of the 24 Grand Prix races scheduled for the 2026 season. The event also marks the long-awaited return of Formula 1 to Madrid after 45 years.
