The Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid opening hours are the following:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Tuesday: Closed
If you’re planning a one-time visit, the general admission ticket will cost you 12€. This gives you access to all the permanent and temporary exhibitions that are on at the time of your visit.
If you’re an art enthusiast who loves to delve deeper and wouldn’t mind a second visit, then the two-visit ticket priced at 18€ is perfect for you. This allows you to return and re-explore any areas or exhibits that caught your eye during your first visit.
Reina Sofía Museum free hours
One of the great perks about visiting the Reina Sofía Museum is that you can sometimes get in for free!
On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the museum opens its doors for free from 7pm to 9pm. The museum also offers free admission from 12:30pm to 2:30pm on Sundays.
Access is also free on selected dates such as the 18 May, the International Museum Day.
